Worcester Council considering regeneration plans for 500 new homes

City councillors are set to mull over plans for a major regeneration of Worcester’s Shrub Hill Quarter.

The transformation of the 14-hectare site include more than 500 new homes, new public spaces, and the potential creation of up to 5,000 new jobs in the area.

A formal Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) lays out the comprehensive plans.

These proposals will be examined by Worcester City Council’s Place and Economic Development Committee at its meeting on Monday, January 29, and will decide whether to launch a six-week public consultation on the proposals.
