CHILDREN stepped back in time to immerse themselves in history during a whole school event.
All the children and staff dress up as historical figures at Perry Wood Primary School in Worcester.
Prizes were awarded to those with the best thought about costumes, while children took part in workshops throughout the day on Friday (January 19).
Mayor of Worcester Louis Stephen spoke to the children about the history of mayors in Worcester.
Graham Jones, author of the Time Travelling Toby story books, also attended the event, hosting workshops with children and parents looking at some of his past novels.
Parents and families were also invited in to share memories, artefacts and photos from their childhood.
