Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Louis Stephen, has commended a clothing repair business on their local impact.
After a successful trouser repair at Zipyard, Cllr Stephen said: “It often feels like we have become a throw away society, so I’m really pleased to acknowledge this very successful business.
“The Zipyard have created many local jobs, people are saving money on buying new things and it’s better for the environment.”
The Green Party councillor highlighted how the Pump Street business is combating waste and benefiting the local economy.
