Andrew Cross: City councillor for Leopard Hill Ward and county councillor for Warndon Parish Division
My wife and I moved to Warndon Villages 23 years ago. Our two daughters, now at university, attended local schools.
I run my own small company offering antimicrobial materials consultancy and property services. As a small business owner, I have to manage time, people and resources.
Over the past few years, I have increasingly sought to improve our area; planning, sustainable economic development, transport and air quality are all interlinked and essential. I was elected twice to Warndon Parish Council and took on the chairing role. This valuable experience demonstrates my diligence in council work.
Rather than making assumptions about residents’ concerns, I recently surveyed every house in the ward.
As a city and county councillor, I will continue to work for the benefit of our communities, the environment and the sustainable prosperity of Worcester. I will help create a plan to protect our woods, green spaces and ponds. I believe that cross-party co-operation benefits everyone.
