Green and independent councillors want to make it easier for residents to view the attendance records of county councillors.
A motion has been submitted to Worcestershire County Council by Greens Matt Jenkins, Martin Allen, Andrew Cross and Natalie McVey, and independents Tom Wells and Beverley Nielsen.
It says: “There should be a clear way for residents to view the attendance of councillors at public meetings, such as full council, scrutiny panels and committees.
“Ideally, there would be a page on the council’s website showing a summary of attendance for each councillor.
“Some district councils in the county already do this. Our motion calls on the cabinet member with responsibility to produce a report into how this can be done.”
The motion will be voted on by councillors at a full council meeting this Thursday (May 16).
