Katie Collier - Warndon Parish South Ward

Katie Collier

Having grown up in Worcestershire, Katie completed her teacher training at the University of Worcester in 2006 and then began a career as a primary school teacher at a school near Pershore. She has since worked as a deputy headteacher at a school in London and in the last few years, returned to live in Worcester with her husband and two young children.

Katie feels strongly about active travel, and, as a family, they use their cargo bike as much as possible. She would love to see reducing car use become much easier in Worcester, by improving cycle routes and increasing affordable bus services.

She is passionate about ensuring that we are building a positive world for our children and future generations where improved health outcomes, tackling inequality of wealth and sustainable, happy communities are prioritised.
