With experience as a councillor for a council with a gold level for effectiveness, Jon would now like to serve Worcester for the Green Party.

Since moving to Worcester he has become even more passionate about the environment, changed his lifestyle, halved his carbon footprint and gone electric with car and bike. Cathedral ward encompasses the heart of the city and needs the introduction of Park and Ride to encourage more walking and cycling.

Having had three careers, in grocery manufacturing and marketing, financial services and charity fundraising, he feels strongly about encouraging local businesses, sustainable development and harnessing the voluntary sector.

He enjoys litter-picking locally around the riverside with his fox terrier Brian. He recently became a proud and indulgent grandparent and plans to do more local volunteering.
